Museum of Wisconsin Art Executive Director Announces Retirement.
Tom Lidtke , Museum of Wisconsin Art (MWA) Executive Director, has announced his semi-retirement.  Tom has been with the Museum of Wisconsin Art for 30 years and has been instrumental in the formation of the MWA and what it is today.

We are proud to announce that the recipient for the 2012 Coalition of Photographic Arts Artist Incentive Award is CoPA member William Zuback. He will receive a $500 cash award to use to help fund one of his upcoming photography projects.

The Coalition of Photographic Arts presents its 2011-12 Annual Report. It has been one extrodinary year and we are looking forward to the next.

Call for Photographs:

CoPA members are invited to submit two images for display at the Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens (FBBG) Gift Shop.   Fifteen images will be selected for exhibit and sale in the Boerner Botanical Gardens Gift Shop. 

CoPA's May meeting will be at KASANA in the Third Ward, on the SW corner of Buffalo and Broadway. Doors open at 6pm, food will be available for purchase.

ELIGIBILITY AND RESTRICTIONS

Original photographic (film or digital) works executed 2007 or later by registered members of the Coalition of Photographic Arts. Work cannot have been displayed in any of the previous CoPA Members’ Exhibitions.   Maximum framed size 40”x 40”. 

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

All entries are to be submitted to the CoPA website beginning Sunday, March 10,2013. Go to  www.copamilwaukee.com  for details. We will NOT accept any images into the Members Exhibition until we have verification that the artist is an active member of CoPA.

CoPA member Erik Ljung is admittedly shy but having a camera in front of his face is his good excuse to interact with strangers he might otherwise be reluctant to approach. His recently exhibited his work, using his last roll of Kodachrome film.
