Open to all photography artists who reside in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota or Michigan, who may submit up to four images with a $35, non-refundable entry fee.  There is no entry fee for active/paid CoPA members, who may also submit up to four images. See story for a link to submit your entry.

Philip Krejcarek, a professor of art at Carroll University, is CoPA’s Aug. 9 speaker. He is the author of An Introduction to Digital Imagingand Digital Photography: A Hands-On Introduction.

Philip Krejcarek, a professor of art at Carroll University, is CoPA’s Aug. 9 speaker.

A photographer and sculptor, Phil is chairman of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at the Waukesha university where he established a photography major.  He has been a professor there since 1977.

He is the author of An Introduction to Digital Imagingand Digital Photography: A Hands-On Introduction,both published by Cengage Learning.

What is the difference, and where do you fit in?

Photographers often ask me how CoPA differs from a camera club. As President of a photographic arts group I feel it’s vital to set the proper expectations for new members as to what they will find in, and get from, CoPA.
