Carol Kraco is a married mother of three with an eye for finding the
beautiful in the ordinary. Raised in South Florida, she
moved with her family to Wisconsin in 2000 where she is active in her
community, bringing her talents to a variety of endeavors. Carol has
an extensive theater background, but also has experience in a variety
of creative arts. She brings the same energy and imagination to her
entrepreneurial efforts as she does to her artistic ones. After years
of offering her photography services privately and amassing awards in
amateur competitions for her work, Carol has recently focused on
taking her photography to the professional level. She is limited only
by whatever homework assignments her children need help with at the
last minute.
I have had an interest in photography since I got my first Konica at the age of 15. I developed my eye over many years, photographing nature, architecture, and eventually my own children. It wasn't until I was taking photographs at a vintage car show in the summer of 2009 that I realized what I did was unique. The advent of digital film has made photography accessible to many, but an understanding of composition and form is still what separates art from the ordinary. Trying to capture the right image at the right moment to preserve it so others may see it as I do is my goal. There is so much beauty in the world in places both unexpected and obvious, and I work every day to preserve them with my work.
