Since 2003, I have worked at the Racine Art Museum, now as Marketing and Publications Manager. I am also an independent curator and fine art photographer. In spring 2011, I curated Aqua Bleu–depicting the influence of Lake Michigan on the work of regional artists–at Racine Arts Council artspace. Recently, my photography was highlighted in a summer 2011 solo photography exhibition at Leenhouts Gallery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and included in ArtPrize 2011 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As an arts writer and advocate, I review exhibitions as a contributor to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and serve on the Board Directors of the Coalition of Photographic Arts (CoPA) as well as on the Shorts Programming Committee for Milwaukee Film. In 2012, I am co-curating What She Said: Wisconsin Photography Nowwith Bill Zuback at Effjay Projekts contemporary art gallery in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and am working on innovative art projects with Plaid Tuba in Milwaukee.
