Madhavi A. Parekh

Full Name: Madhavi A. Parekh
Bio: I am a physician, currently practicing part time. I have been doing photography and oil painting now for a number of years. I have displayed my photographs at the Waukesha Museum, the Waukesha civic theater, libraries in Franklin and Greendale. I participate in Plein Aire competitions in Cedarburg and Pewaukee. My pictures have been displayed and donated at a number of area hospital fund raising events.
Artist's Statement: My philosophy is that there is life after the practice of Medicine. I have enjoyed the arts from my early school days. I am a graduate of an Indian Classical Dance school. I photograph what I find attractive and paint in oil some of my photographs. I am always trying to learn something new from other artists.
