I have been making images for approximately 35 years. I started out on a whim with a friend of mine in his basement developing black and white eight by tens. From then I took classes at Milwaukee Area Technical College, Attended the Nikon School of Photography, and various seminars throughout the years.
I have done Police Photography throughout my 27 year career with Milwaukee County Sheriff, early on worked in wedding photography for Ed Heintz Studio, and recently for the past eight years as a Photographers Assistant for John Korom Photography. I have also done many jobs in various forms of photography throughout those years.
As far as my Fine Arts Photography I have had pieces on display at the Milwaukee Art Museum (Cudahy Gallery) and the Coos Bay Art Museum, Coos Bay, OR. Also displays at local coffee shops.
Every day we create images with our eyes. Though fleeting, they are there all around us. I wish to create that image frozen in time at the moment it is seen. I then wish to search the image and seek what is within the image creating a thought provoking, pleasing, beautiful image of the world around us. This is my passion.
