Back in High School I was the school photographer. The smell of the darkroom, the swish of the papers, the drips of the solutions and the red tone are still fresh in my mind. I shoot with a Nikon D7000. Nikon was the only choice for me. My Dad passed that on to me. I help run a monthly photo contest where I work. I started that contest as a way to broaden my horizons. Three years later it is still running and a ton of fun. (email for details if you want to join in on that fun: baileysan@ymail.com) My full time job must be the most photographer friendly work environment ever.
I post a photo every single day to a public album on Facebook. That challenge started almost 2 years ago now. It was the best thing I have done yet to push my photography limits. I thought I would stop after 1 year, maybe after two years. I do believe that I will have a bit of a rebellion on my hands if I do. Truth be told, I might rebel myself if I stopped.
